take my yoke upon you, and learn of me

This week my gospel study has been focused on Matthew 11:29. I find it significant that "learn of me" follows the statement "take my yoke upon you."  I feel that in this context, learn of me does not necessarily mean to study the life of the Savior, but rather to learn to trust in Christ and His infinite love. Today in Primary the children sang "If the Savior Stood Beside Me." As I listened, I pondered on Christ's invitation to "take my yoke upon you and learn of me," in that moment I no longer saw a yoke resting on my shoulders but the loving arm of my Savior keeping me close.  In that moment, my soul found rest.
