I have had the recurring impression that the counsel given to Emma Smith: "thy time shall be given to writing, and to learning much," also applies to me. My blog is a place for me to record and share what I have learned about myself. I'm not a scholar or a writer, I'm just me, trying to be better. My web address reflects the place I want to live. . . I want to live in the state of rest. For me that kind of rest comes through the hope that the Lord loves me as i am, and as I do my best and learn of Him I will know how to make my best better.
