grandma

I hike the Timponogos Cave Trail weekly. I love it! One of the things I love most is seeing Grandmas and Grandpas with their grandchildren. This morning I saw a Grandpa with his young grandson, a Grandma with two teenaged granddaughters and couldn't help but smile when I passed a multigenerational family overlooking the view and heard one family member say "YES!!! This is what I envisioned when I said let's go visit Grandma and Grandpa." 

I don't know when I will be a Grandma, but I do know that I want to age well. I want to be healthy, active, vibrant and fun so that when I do have someone calling me Grandma they will want to shout "Yes!!! This is what I envisioned when I said let's go visit Grandma and Grandpa."
