David and I went on a Book of Mormon Evidence Tour through the Midwest. It was fascinating to learn about ancient American history and explore the possible geography of The Book of Mormon. It was a happy surprise that I got to check Kentucky off my 50 States bucket list.
One of the places we visited was the Newark Earthwork in Ohio. There are some who believe that it is the location of Book of Mormon Bountiful, and the very spot where Jesus visited the Nephite people. I don't know about that, but I do know that I liked the quiet simplicity of that place because that is how Jesus appears in my life -- in quiet simple ways.
