13th article of faith

I was blessed to discover Phillipians 4:8 this morning. It gave me a whole new perspective on the 13th Article of Faith.  Both verses share similar words, however in Phillipians we are told to "think on these things." That's a powerful message!  It's so easy to get caught up in negative thinking and allow our thoughts to lead us to a place of doubt. However, when we focus our thoughts on truth, on things that are lovely and deserving of praise, then our thoughts lead us to a place where we believe. . . we believe in ourselves, we believe in the goodness of others and we believe in the love of God.
